Superb AI Secures $10.2 Million in Series C Funding to Advance Vision AI Solutions
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a $10.2 million Series C funding round, with new investments from Doosan Investment, Hyundai Motor Group, Kakao Investment, and Samsung Next. Existing investors, including KT Investment, who has now participated four times, and Premier Partners, who has participated three times, also contributed to this round. This brings our total cumulative investment to $36.9 million.
At Superb AI, we have been extremely busy developing a comprehensive suite of solutions for building and managing computer vision AI capable of analyzing images, videos, 3D LiDAR, and more. Our platform aims to address the challenges that many companies face in adopting AI by providing end-to-end support, from data collection to development and operations. Users can also use our platform to conduct everything from data preparation to model creation and deployment within a single platform, streamlining their AI development process, eliminating unnecessary silos.
What's new
In response to the growing need for secure data handling, we recently introduced an on-premise solution, designed for clients with strict security needs or regulatory constraints that prevent them from using public networks or cloud services. Clients can now select between cloud-based and on-premise deployment options based on their specific requirements.
We also launched a generative AI-based data generation feature, which is especially valuable for industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, construction, and distribution. This feature enables users to create ground-truth quality data for rare instances, such as defective products, natural disasters, or accidents, thereby addressing data shortages that can hinder model training.
With entities established in South Korea, the United States, and Japan, we are well prepared to deliver Vision AI solutions to over 100 clients worldwide, including major corporations like Samsung, LG Electronics, Qualcomm, Hyundai Motor, and S-1 Corporation. In the first half of this year, we reached 100% of last year’s revenue and are targeting an annual growth rate of over 200%. Our Japanese subsidiary, established last April, is expanding rapidly and has already secured key clients like Toyota and Nippon Steel.
What's next
With the Series C funding, we plan to further expand our specialized workforce and deepen our presence in the Japanese and North American markets. We will also strengthen our partnerships across sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, defense, and logistics. By collaborating with telecommunications, semiconductor, server, and cloud service providers, we aim to enhance our all-in-one AI solution, enabling rapid and sustainable AI adoption.
